Calla's Kitchen Page 12

“Damn, Calla. You taste so good. I love how responsive your body is.” The warmth of his breath as he speaks adds another sensation into the mix, and I’m coming again before I know what hit me.

“I could get used to the way your body reacts. Let’s try for one more before I take you to bed and fuck you all night.”

In my hazy bliss, I can’t respond. Aftershocks keep my now over-sensitive pussy in need of more, while the rest of me needs time to catch my breath. And all I can think, besides how amazing this feels, is how Torrance never gave me oral, yet he expected it from me. Before I realize what’s going on, Max is spinning me around and pulling my shoulders toward the edge of the table. I have to strain to hold my head up now that the table isn’t under it.

“I want you to suck me as I eat and finger you this time. Drop your head back,” he instructs me, unbuttoning his pants and pulling his hard cock out. His dick is thick and long, and I’m not sure if he’ll fit in my mouth. He lines himself up with my mouth. “Open,” he commands, and I willingly comply.

I wet my lips and tentatively lick the tip of his cock.

He lets out a low moan. His fingers begin their dance with my clit and wet folds as his cock pushes into my mouth. I open, taking him all the way to the back of my throat. I gag, and he pulls out slightly. Soon his mouth is back on my pussy, his tongue delving in and out of my center. He gets into a rhythm, fingering and licking me as he fucks my mouth. My hands come up to caress his balls, squeezing and tugging just enough that his movements quicken. Max moans into my pussy, and I do the same as pleasure once again builds.

“Cum with me Calla,” Max demands into my mound.

He sucks hard on my clit and pumps his fingers in and out of my center. His dick throbs in my mouth, and his tempo speeds up to the point that the head of his cock is hitting the back of my throat. I can’t stop gagging.

The first taste of precum is the only warning I get. He adds another finger in my pussy and gently bites on my clit. I cum hard on his fingers. As he feasts, his release fills my mouth, and I swallow everything he gives me.

“Holy fuck, that was hot,” Max declares as he lifts off me. “I want this gorgeous ass of yours in bed, so I can fill this tight little pussy.”

Max backs up, giving me room to sit up. Blood rushes from my head, and I’m a little dizzy. I sway, and Max’s hands grab onto my shoulders.

“How about I carry you?” He smirks.

“That might be a good idea.”

He leans into me and kisses my lips. “Having you swallow my cum is one of the sexiest things I’ve seen in years,” he whispers.

I smirk and lick my lips. He chuckles, holding out his hand to help me off the table.

“Stand still.” He bends down and picks me up fireman style. “Master suite is down the hall to my right?” he confirms.

  “Yes.”

One of his hands goes around my legs and the other holds onto my ass. He carries me down the hall into my room then tosses me onto the bed.

“You look comfortable,” he says, standing at the edge of the bed.

I’d be really comfy if we were under the covers.

“I am, for the most part.” I scramble to get under the sheets.

“For the most part?” He kneels onto the bed and grabs my ankle, pulling me toward him.

“Getting under the covers would help,” I reply.

“If you’re cold, I’ll warm you up.” He lifts off the bed, shucking off his jeans before climbing back on it.

I scoot closer as his fingers squeeze into my flesh. We embrace, and my fingers lightly touch his chest. Heat and desire flutter through me. Damn, I’m still aching for him. I pull out of Max's grip and sit up. His eyes brighten as he leans toward me. Threading his fingers through my hair, he pulls my mouth to his, kissing me passionately, our tongues twining together.

  Out of breath, we separate.

“Want to help remove this?” I ask, lifting my hips off the bed.

“Are you sure about this? I want you, but if you want to wait, I’ll leave.”

“Max. Stop talking and undress me. I don’t want to think about it anymore. I’m not drunk. And yes, I want this. I want you.”

“That’s all I need to hear.” His fingers grip the bunched up material of my dress, and he slowly pulls it down over my hips and legs.

The dress gets tossed to the floor. I push Max back against the soft mattress, slowly crawling up his legs and straddling him. He slides his hands up and down my arms, causing goosebumps to pebble my flesh. Seductively, I unbutton his shirt, slowly exposing his muscular chest. As I lightly brush my fingertips down the line of his breast bone to his belly button, I bend down to kiss his neck and grind my center into his hardening cock. He closes his eyes and moans, as his fingers lightly roll down the crease of my exposed spine.

I shudder, and he stops. “You still good?”

“Yes. Don’t stop.” I look into Max's eyes then kiss his lips before lifting myself off him.

He lifts up, resting his upper body on his forearms as he gazes at me. I gesture for him to move closer to the edge of the bed. As he complies, I lean down, placing both hands under his shirt on his shoulders, and slip him out of it. Once he’s shirtless, I slide my body closer until I am straddling him again. Max wraps his arms around me, unsnapping my bra in the process. Now that I’m naked, he touches every inch of my body with his hands and lips. His arms slide to my middle, pulling me closer, and his mouth latches onto my breast. Max sucks and nibbles the nipple until it tightens into a peak. Anticipation fills me as heat is building in my core again, and my pussy clenches. He rolls me onto the bed then quickly removes the rest of his clothing while I push my body up toward the pillows, pulling the covers down as I go. Max climbs on top of me, covering my body completely with his, and places all his weight on his forearms.

  “Max,” I sigh breathlessly.

He kisses down my neck, his tongue lightly tracing my collar bone. The moon shines brightly in through the window, bathing us in the only light in the room.

“Max, before we go much further, I want to make sure we’re on the same page. I’m not wanting a relationship. I just want to have fun. Are you good with that?”

Shock fills Max's face, but he quickly recovers.

“Isn't that supposed to be my line?” he quips.

“Yes,” I giggle. “But I want to put all my cards on the table, so to speak.”

He scans my body. “It’s a hell of a time to be discussing this while we’re both naked, don’t you think?”

“It is, but I don’t want to make things… harder.” I smirk as I slowly move my hand down his chest toward his hard cock “Than they need to be.”

He clears his throat. “Uh, yeah. For tonight, I’m completely on board with no complications. Besides, I don’t mind being friends with benefits.”

“Friends with benefits? Yeah, I can work with that.” I cup his balls.

Moaning, Max shifts back onto his knees, running his hands down my body. “I need to hear you scream again before you play with those. But if I have my way, you will be sucking on them before morning.”

He grabs my leg, pulling me under him. Then he slides down beside me, his hands roaming up my body. With his mouth and tongue, he caresses my breasts, licking and sucking my other nipple into a stiff peak, and playing my body like a well-tuned violin. I quiver under his touch. All I want to do is touch him back, but I remain still, allowing him to tease me into oblivion.

I moan with every kiss, touch, and lick Max delivers, until he finally slides his cock inside me to the hilt, filling me completely.

  Chapter 17

  Calla

I’m deliciously sore this morning. Max left about an hour ago, after one last round of sweaty, no-holds-barred sexual exploration of each other’s bodies. I honestly can’t remember all the positions we tried, or how many orgasms he gave me. I lost count.

Now, I’m leaning over the kitchen counter with pen in hand, and
papers lying scattered on the counter. A bowl of half-eaten cereal is pushed off to my side. I’ve almost filled the page in front of me with ideas for the new dinner menu as I’ve eaten breakfast. A few of my ideas have me smiling in glee.

I hope at least one of these will turn out the way I’m envisioning.

“Damn it. The guys were right.” I look over at Baggie in amazement. “I did need the night off and a good fuck. Huh.”

I play with the pen, tapping the top of it on the counter, as a mischievous smirk plays at the corner of my mouth. I pick up my bowl, place it in the sink, and hop onto the counter, jotting down a few more notes before grabbing my phone. I hit the third number on my speed dial.

“Isn't this a little late for your workout?” Trey chuckles.

“Yes, smartass. You up for jogging in the city and grabbing coffee or lunch?”

“Of course, Darlin’. What's got you in such a good mood? Or need I ask?”

“Fucker. A few things. Only one is important. I have several pages of ideas for Belladonna’s new menus. So, get your ass over here so we can run. I’ll have Wes meet us.”

  “On my way.” Trey disconnects.

I hit the next number on the speed dial.

“Hello?” Comes Wes’s groggy voice. Then a muffled, “Damn it, Zoe. I'm on the phone.”

Loud but muffled screams flow through the phone, and I quickly remove the cell from my ear, shaking my head in the process.

“Wes!” I call out, my voice slightly raised.

“Hey, Calla. Sorry about that.” More screams filter across the line. “Zoe, get out of the room!”

“Never mind. I'll talk to you later.” Not allowing Wes to say another word, I end the call before rubbing my ear.

Trey and I step out of my building to find Wes waiting on the front stoop, ready to run. I look curiously at him.

  “Long story,” Wes supplies.

  I shrug.

“This should be fun,” Trey mumbles. “Run ‘til we drop, or time? Winner buys coffee.”

“Deal. I need fifteen miles today, if possible,” I respond.

“Fuck, Darlin’! What are you trying to do to us? You know we don’t run marathons. That’s your sick idea of fun.”

“Actually, I want to try a Spartan race or a Tough Mudder this year. I’m thinking about giving one of the new American Ninja Warrior gyms a try.”

“You’re kidding right? Calla, I know since Torrance you’ve been concerned about your weight, but guys like curves. Stop trying to lose yours!” Wes blurts out, making both Trey and I stare open-mouthed at him.

Unable to form words, “Ummm,” is the only thing that I can get out of my mouth.

“Seriously, Wes? Are you trying to give her a complex? Don’t talk about a woman’s weight. Ever. What the fuck happened to you this morning?”

“Zoe. Need I say more?” Wes pushes his earphones in his ears.

Trey rolls his eyes as he and I follow Wes’s lead. We start slowly, jogging north, but quickly pick up speed once we get to the UT campus. We all take the lead at one time or another, upping the pace and trying to outdo each other. At the last bend, we hit eighteen miles, and Wes is practically dragging me around the last little bit of UT. This is the fastest we’ve all run together. Sweat pours off of me, and it takes everything I have in me to keep up this pace. As we round the last corner, we finally stop. Wes laughs as he looks back at my face.

“Sorry… I needed that,” he explains.

I smile, breathing hard and fast. “You can buy the snacks to make up for it.”

Wes drops his head down, bending at the waist, taking in a few deep breaths as we wait for Trey to catch up. Trey was stopped by an old friend of Joe’s as we all rounded the second to last corner of the campus.

I nod toward the Starbucks on the opposite corner.

“Deal. You want to text Trey?” Wes asks.

“Sure.” I pull out my cell and start typing.

Calla: When you finish chatting, meet us at Starbucks.

  Trey: On my way.

We quickly cross the street between the cars rushing past. I grab one of the iron tables outside as Wes heads into the shop. I cross my arms on the table and rest my head on top of my arms, taking in deep breaths to lower my heart rate. My eyes close, and I catalogue all the aches I’m feeling after that brutal run. Someone ruffles my messy ponytail, and I glance up and watch Trey grab a chair from behind me.

“Did we wear you out?” He chuckles.

“It’s possible. Wes is in there getting food and drinks. You might want to give him your order. He hasn’t been in there long. At least, I don’t think he has.”

“I’ll be right back,” Trey says as he walks away.

  “Yep.” I wave him off.

A minute later, I hear Wes’s voice saying, “Thanks man. Glad you’re back. Can you help me with all this?”

I lift my head so my chin is resting on my forearm. “That was quick.”

Trey grabs for the three bottles stuck under Wes’s arms, and the bags he is barely holding on to. The three iced drinks remain in Wes’s hands as they head back to our table. They set everything down, pushing water and an iced chai toward me.

“Thanks.” I reach for the bottle of water, twist the cap off, and take a drink. After, I pour a little over my head. Wes and Trey shake their heads and laugh at me. I promptly flip them off.

Switching mental gears, I look at Trey. “You doing okay after talking to Joe’s colleague?”

Trey glances over his shoulder toward the University. “I will be. I normally avoid that place, so I won’t run into anyone. A few will call and check on me every few months, but they pretty much leave me be. Chris,” Trey gestures with his thumb over his shoulder, “is the Dean of Joe’s department. He and his wife are the ones that check on me the most.”

I reach over and squeeze Trey’s hand. “You need anything, you call.”

Trey narrows his eyes at me.

“Don’t give me that look. I know that you know we’re here. But just to remind you.”

Trey plays with the ring he still wears on his finger. “I know. Trust me, it's not easy. But it's not as difficult as it was in the beginning. At some point, I’ll remove this. Just... not yet.” Trey gives me a sad smile.

“Take all the time you need.” I squeeze his hand again before letting go to rip a chunk of my muffin off.

“Calla has a point, Trey. Whatever time you need, take it. Besides, I think we all just want you happy,” Wes adds.

“Like you’re one to talk asshole. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we wish you’d leave Zoe.” Trey takes a long gulp of his water.

I chuckle. “Like that will ever happen. I think he likes the drama she creates.”

“Fuck no, I don’t.” Wes glares at us.

“Last week, didn’t you say something about moving out of your place?” Trey asks Wes.

“I do need out of my apartment. I just haven’t found a new place yet,” Wes replies.

I speak up. “Wes, if you need to, you can stay with me. I have the spare room. You can use it for as long as you need.”

No one speaks for a few minutes. Trey glances at Wes, giving him a raised eyebrow, but Wes waves him off.

“While y’all have your silent conversation, there’s something else I want to talk about. I came up with some new menu ideas this morning.”

Both men look at me in surprise.

“You really weren’t joking when we talked about this the other day then. What brought that on?” Trey winks.

“I had a good night.” I smirk at him before sipping my chai.

“I’m sure you did.” Trey grins.

  Wes's eyes flicker with discomfort.

“What did we tell you?” Trey responds, and I’m not sure if he is saying it to me... or to Wes.

I roll my eyes as I rip off another chunk of muffin.

  Chapter 18

  Wes

The Red River, University of Texas vs. Ok
lahoma University, game plays on the TV in the background as Trey and I lounge around Calla’s dining room table in our sweat-soaked clothes. She’s in the kitchen making BLT&A's for the three of us. Thankfully, Forest isn’t here, or we wouldn’t hear the end of it. Damn Sooner. OU is kicking our asses, making me cringe every time I glance at the game.

Trey reads over the latest review of Belladonna, while I scan Calla's notes.

  “Damn,” Trey mutters.

Calla turns to see what is going on. I look up and bump Trey's arm with my eyebrows raised, silently asking what he means by that.

“New review. Have you read this?” Trey hands the review over for me to read.

Calla sighs, turning back to the bacon sizzling in the pan.

“No.” The paper rustles in my hands, and I clear my throat to read it aloud. “It seems the chefs at Belladonna want to take their name seriously. I hope Calla figures out her issues soon. I miss her cooking.”

  “Lovely!” Calla mutters.

I crumple the paper, shaping it into a ball. Then I set up my shot and toss the paper ball into the trash can.

  “Score!”

Trey laughs, shaking his head. We both look toward Calla when she carries three small plates over to the table. Her face is red and slightly moist.

“Darlin’, it's going to be fine. We’re going to fix this,” Trey smiles as she hands him a plate.

I push her notes toward Trey, and he looks them over.

“These look great, Calla. Between what Trey, Forest, and I have been working on and these, we should be golden in no time.”

“I don't know. I’m getting so sick of these awful reviews. I know something is lacking, I just don't know what that something is.”

“We should try some of these ideas. Maybe start by adding them as specials. Have one appetizer, a salad, three main dishes, and one dessert. That way we can see which of the new ideas our guests are liking then slowly start adding them into main the menus,” I suggest.
